The initiatives in the 1st phase outlined by TH Foundation in carrying out its CSR with the theme of “Charity begins at home”, among others:

  1. To offer scholarship to the SPM school leavers especially TH depositors to pursue their study in Local Higher Learning Institutions;
  2. To carry-out humanitarian aid and contribution in the event of mishaps or natural catastrophes;
  3. To help those who are in need which categorized as asnaf to relieve their life burden and responsibilities.

TH Foundation Objectives

The objects for which the Yayasan is established are:-

  • To provide humanitarian aid to save lives, alleviate suffering and maintain human dignity in response to humanitarian crisis during natural disasters, man-made disasters, including war, famine by providing fund, donation, contribution to the underprivileged, the poor and needy, food aid, health care or protection and setting up of welfare centres.
  • To uplift of general education by undertaking funding, maintaining and granting scholarship to Malaysians.
  • To promote and undertake research in Islamic scholarship, Islamic banking, medical and other branches of Syariah law that will accord direct benefits to the Malaysian public and the global community.

Member of the Board of Trustees comprised of the Honourable TH, Chairman of TH, Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of TH and two (2) external trustees who are not related to the foundation and founder of YTH which will be appointed as Board of Trustees of YTH.

TH Foundation Logo

TH Foundation maintains the original logo of TH in its own logo to show that TH Foundation was established by TH and as an effort put forth by TH to realize the vision and mission of TH. Likewise, TH Foundation also uphold the Islamic identity of TH.

The concept of pencil tip and shoots(leaf) signify YTH’s activities that focusing on the development of education towards excellence as they are the future leaders and mukmin professional.

THE SHOOT(LEAF)
The shoot(leaf) also symbolizes the shelter or protection given by the YTH to those who are in need of assistance and contribution.

COLOUR
Green indicates growth and life, while black is a symbol of strength and power.

When was Yayasan TH(YTH) established?

YTH was incorporated on 17th May 2016 under the Company’s Act 1965 by the Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia(SSM) as a Company Limited by Guarantee or Syarikat Berhad Menurut Jaminan and not having a share capital.

What are objectives for establishing YTH?

The objectives of YTH:

How does the idea to form YTH come about?

The sense of responsibility to assume active role in the development and well-being of Malaysians specifically the Muslim by way of CSR initiated the establishment of YTH. It is in-line with the government aspirations as envisioned by the Prime Minister whereby the corporate sector could undertake greater role in CSR activities.

YTH shall be administered separately by its Board of Trustees in ensuring that the CSR activities are carried out accordingly and effectively.

What is the CSR’s theme of YTH?

The theme for CSR of YTH is “Charity Begins At Home”.

What are sources of funds?

The source of fund in the 1st phase will be mainly the contribution from TH itself for Scholarships and education related activities.

Whereas, in the 2nd phase, invitation shall be extended to YTH’s corporate counterparts that simultaneously intent to contribute funds for CSR activities with the Tax Relief (Exemption) from Inland Revenue Board (IRB).

Who are the members of the Board of Trustees?

Does YTH offer educational loan?
